Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project consists of filling in sidewalk gaps along Mt. Vernon Street from Lulwood Avenue to Westgate Avenue and on Miller Avenue from Tarkio Street to Mt. Vernon Street. Main elements of work include: approximately 13,500 SF of Concrete Sidewalk, approx. 1,000 SF of Concrete ADA Ramp, driveway replacements, approx. 1,000 linear feet of Curb and Gutter, and associated stormwater improvements The project also includes City sanitary sewer installation work to include main elements of: 720 LF of 8" gravity sewer line, 4 manholes, and 200 LF of lateral pipe. Lastly, the project includes City Utilities Gas & Water improvements. Bidders must be on the MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, current version including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified or cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. Note all labor shall be paid Missouri Prevailing Wages and/or Federal Davis-Bacon Wages, whichever is higher. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 3% The owner will award this project to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
