Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Perry, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

**As of June 18, 2025, the project was awarded to Concrete Technologies, with an awarded amount of $3,313,465.75.** Reconstruction of Parallel Taxiway A including pavement section reconstruction, excavation and edge lighting improvements. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 2.4 % Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9 % Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Iowa Code Section 26.8, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon. The bidder'ssecurity shall be in an amount equal to 5% percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid shall contain no condition except as provided in the specifications If the bidder fails to execute the contract and to furnish an acceptable performance and payment bond or provide a Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days after acceptance of the bid by the City of Perry, the bid security may be forfeited or cashed by the City of Perry as liquidated damages. Work on the improvement shall commence upon approval of the contract by the City Council and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. Phase 1A/1B identified in the contract shall be completed concurrently. The time allotment for Phase 1 (Including Phases 1A and 1B) shall be 80 Working Days. The Contractor shall pave Taxiway C1 first as a test strip and also pave the expanded taxilane to the apron as soon as recycled concrete aggregate base course can be provided. Once Taxiway C1 is constructed, the Owner is able to allow for construction of new hangar buildings to the northwest (not shown on the plans). Once work on the project has begun, the Contractor shall actively construct the project until completion. The time allotment for Phase 2 shall be 10 Working Days. The time allotment for Phase 3 shall be 40 Working Days. Once work on the project has begun, the Contractor shall actively construct the project until completion. It is the intent that this project be completed within the calendar year 2026. Liquidated damages as set forth in Section 00500 - Contract. All proposals submitted in accordance with the instructions presented herein will be subject to evaluation. Bids may be held by the City of Perry for a period not to exceed Ninety (90) days or September 1, 2025, whichever is later, from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of conducting the bid evaluation. The City of Perry reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or technicalities in any bid, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City of Perry.
