Site work for a swimming pool in Winona, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool.
The major items of work include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Pool mechanical systems, including piping, recirculation system, filtration system, activity mechanical systems and water chemical treatment system. 2. Heating system for swimming pool. Coordinate venting and interlocking for pool heater(s) with HVAC Contractor. 3. Coordination of all electrical interlocks for pool and pool related equipment. 4. Miscellaneous pool testing, safety and control equipment. 5. Low voltage wiring for pool and pool related equipment is installed and connected by the Swimming Pool Contractor unless required otherwise by code. Est. Completion Date: March 31, 2026 A certified check, cashiers check, or bidders bond shall accompany each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid made payable to the City of Winona, Minnesota which shall be forfeited to the City in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract with the City. The contractor shall furnish the owner, within ten (10) days after the contract is awarded, a bond executed by a surety company approved by the owner in the full amount of the contract and conditioned as provided by the General Statutes of this State. The bond shall be executed by a surety company authorized to do business within the State of Minnesota and having a minimum A.M. best rating of B+. The term of the bond will be two (2) years from the date of final acceptance. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
