Reference number: 20068789 CDPQ Infra Inc. is seeking, by this request for expression of interest (the "Request for Expression of Interest" or "REOI"), to qualify up to five (5) companies or groups of companies to participate in the design-build preparatory work for sections TW-09, TW-13 and TW-14 required to complete the Project, as defined below. The project consists of a new 19-kilometre tramway network, including 29 stations, linking the Le Gendre, Sainte-Foy, Laval University, Parliament Hill, Saint-Roch and Charlesbourg areas of Quebec City. This new tramway line, known as the TramCité project, represents the backbone of mobility in the Communauté métropolitaine de Québec ("CMQ") region. It is efficiently linked and accessible to other modes of transport, and serves the city's busiest mobility corridors, increasing the fluidity and capacity of the existing public transport network. Like many cities around the world that have implemented a modern tramway system, it integrates harmoniously into communities, contributing to their development and the quality of their environment. The CMQ currently boasts the highest population growth rate in Quebec, and is expected to exceed one million inhabitants by 2040.
