Bids received after 9:00 a.m. at the Courthouse will be returned unopened. Bids received by facsimile machine will not be accepted. Only bids from those Contractors who are registered on the Indiana Department of Transportation's current listing of Prequalified Contractors for this type of work included in this project will be considered. additional bid open: Bids will be publicly opened by representatives of the Monroe County Highway Department at the Monroe County Highway Garage, 5900 Foster Curry Drive, Bloomington, Indiana 47403 Bid Documents: All bids shall be accompanied by (1) Bid Form included in the bidding documents (2) completed Form 96 (Ind. State Board of Accounts - Rev.) with required attachments (3) Non discrimination affidavit as required by the laws of the State of Indiana, and (4) Bid security, as described below (5) Other bidding documents as described in the instructions to bidders. Bid Security: Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall accompany each Bid. Bid Security may be in the form of a Bid Bond (A-310), certified check or cashier's check. If the Bidder withdraws a bid within thirty (30) days after the opening date, without consent of the Owner or fails to execute a satisfactory contract within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance, the Owner may declare the Bid deposit forfeited as liquidated damages. Bonds: The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the Contract Sum. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. All bids may be held for a period not to exceed 30 days, or as otherwise stated in the Contract Documents before awarding the contract. Approximately 0.95 miles east of Old S.R.37 (Walnut Street) Bid Proposals are to provide for the construction and completion of the project in every detail of the work described. Bidder shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supplies, safety equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to perform, and shall perform, the work generally described, in a good and workmanlike manner and in accordance with the Contract Documents (as herein defined) as necessary to produce the results intended by the Contract Documents, including the protection of all property traversed or approached American Structurepoint, Inc. was contracted by the City of Bloomington to proceed with the Monroe Country Bridge 75 Improvement project Wetland Delineation, located in Bloomington, Perry Township, Monroe County, Indiana. More Specifically, the investigated area is located on the Clear Creek USGS 7.5 Minute Quadrangle Map in Sections 15 and 22, Township 8 North, Range 1 West. The investigated area is located along Gordon Pike at Monroe County Bridge 75, which carries the roadway over Jackson Creek. The proposed project would completely remove and replace the existing Monroe County Bridge 75 with a new composite steel beam bridge. One stream, Jackson Creek 2, (112 linear feet) was delineated during the March 15, 2022 site visit. Submit all questions for the bid via email to dwday@structurepoint.com (Attn: Derrek Day). All questions must be received prior to 10:00 a.m. local time May 18th, 2025. A written response will be delivered to the Record of Plans Purchased that is required to be filled out by anyone purchasing plans. No questions will be answered by telephone.
