Renovation of a municipal facility in Homer, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of 5/28/25 and per Addendum 1, the bid date period has been extended by one week. The revised bid date is June 5, 2025. The work is separated into four prime bids (General Construction, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC) and, in general, involves alterations to the Lower Level of the building for occupancy by the Homer Police Department and the Community Room. To arrange access to the building at other times contact the Town Clerk at 607-749-4581. All other questions should be addressed to the Architect c/o jcarnes@crawfordstearns.com. NYS wage rates apply. Refer also to the Instructions to Bidders in the bid documents. R026 & R027 Work Scopes and electrical: In lieu of finishes described by the drawing schedules, Scopes for these two rooms shall be as follows: 1. Floor: Remove and replace tile as scheduled 2. Floor Base: Remove / replace with new to match, prep and paint P4. 3. Walls: Remove and repair at all existing item locations. Patch and match all woodwork holes, scrapes and blemishes. Prep and paint walls P2. 4. Ceiling: Remove and repair at all existing item locations. Patch and match all woodwork holes, scrapes and blemishes. Prep and paint walls P5. 5. Electrical: Retain existing ceiling light and wiring. Paint to match ceiling.
