The purpose of this bid package is to provide the County of Ocean with a contractor(s) who has the ability to successfully complete the tasks required as set forth in the specifications of this project: Construction of Traffic Signal at the Intersection of C.R. 9 (Rt. 526 /W. Commodore Boulevard) and C.R. 26 (Diamond Road), Jackson Township Question Response Deadline:May 9, 2025, 12:00pm Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and P.L. 1975 C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.) and P.L. 1997, c.408 (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-16). Statement of Ownership (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2). The provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, in referring to corporations and partnerships, are intended to apply to all forms of corporations and partnerships, including, but not limited to, limited partnerships, limited liability corporations, limited liability partnerships, and Subchapter S corporations. The County reserves the right to reject all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2. The County reserves the right to waive any minor informalities in the bids, and unless otherwise specified by the bidder, to accept any item in the bid, should it be deemed in accordance with applicable law. SCOPE OF WORK 104.01 Intent. The following is added to this Subsection of the Standard Specifications: The work to be performed under this Contract consists of construction of a new MUTCD and ADA compliant traffic signal at the intersection of County Route 526, West Commodore Boulevard, and Diamond Road in Jackson Township. There will be roadway widening, reprofiling of West Commodore Boulevard, construction of ADA compliant curb ramps, and drainage reconstruction. There will be minor driveway reconstruction and frontage improvements to the site on the northwest corner of the intersection. The new signalized intersection will include dedicated left turn lanes on the West Commodore Boulevard approaches and maintain the single lane configuration on the Diamond Road approaches. 104.03.03 Types of Changes. 3.
