Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Divide, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Work Will Consist of: Surveying, Grubbing and Clearing, 3% Cts Existing X 12" in Depth; Supply and Import 6" Abc, Shaping Activities, Moisture Conditioning, Proper Compaction, Proof Rolling; Installation of 6" Compacted Thickness Pg58-28 Hma; Epoxy Edge and Center Line Striping; Removal or Pulverization of Existing Hardsurfaced Driveway and Intersection Aprons, Associated Abc Import, Shaping Activities and Installation of 4" Compacted Hma Driveway and Intersection Aprons; Culvert Extension(S); Culvert Replacement; Shouldering Requests for interpretation, clarification and/or additional information must be received in writing no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday May 08, 2025. Answers will be provided to all Respondents who have been placed on the official plan holders' list in the Teller County Public Works no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday May 12, 2025. Project narrative: COUNTY ROAD 5 RECONSTRUCTION Overview: Teller County is soliciting bid proposals from qualified companies to provide roadway reconstruction services on CR 5 from it's intersection with CR 51, northerly to/towards Spring Valley Drive. Please see Attachment D, Vivid Engineering Group Geotechnical Evaluation Report, regarding the minimum 3% CTS that is required this project. These services will consist of: 1. Prior to any construction activities beginning, Contractor will acquire survey data on: Existing roadway surface widths (including any shoulder(s)) hinge point to hinge point, current Centerline (CL), edge of asphalt (EOA), cross slope and super elevations, curve run in and runout locations and dimensions, existing flowline location, cross culvert locations and invert elevations, driveway culverts locations and elevations, as well as all utility locations and depths on any utility that may pose a conflict within the work areas, on CR 5 and all intersecting driveway access and intersecting road aprons. 2. Grub and remove all areas within affected roadway prism limits. Stockpile all topsoil for reuse on back and fore slopes upon completion of project 3. Replace all existing cross culverts . 4. Driveway access culverts may need relocated due to ditching and 3H:1V ditch foreslope uniformity operations. 5. Bomag/Pulverize the existing hard surfacing beginning at the CR 5/ CR 51 intersection and proceeding northerly, hinge point to hinge point, or 32 feet in width if wider than hinge point, to a depth of 12". Up to 3" of this 12" depth material can be used to widen shoulders to the necessary width if needed. Properly shape roadway including proper compaction and moisture conditioning. Any areas where material is added to widen shoulder areas must begin with flat horizontal and then bring fill material elevation up to final grade ensuring proper compaction and moisture content
