The Consultant will require all insurance policies in any way related to the contract and secured and maintained by the Consultant to include clauses stating that each carrier will waive all rights of recovery, under subrogation or otherwise, against the State of Colorado, its agencies, institutions, organizations, officers, agents, employees and volunteers. In general, the scope of work to be undertaken for this project will include all work required to evaluate the existing condition, assess current needs and to design improvements appropriate for the Park. While any necessary work is expected to be within already disturbed areas, depending on proposed improvements, this may include consulting services for Cultural, and Environmental Clearances. The goal is to take this all the way through construction completion as identified below: o Gathering information on existing facilities and needs. o As-needed coordination with CPW staff specializing in Cultural and Environmental Clearances and completing and submitting any necessary permits. o Providing any necessary Professional Surveying and Geotechnical Analysis for the Proposed Work. o Specifying an appropriate SCADA system for accurate monitoring and notifications. o Preparing Engineered Construction Drawings & Specifications for the Proposed Work. o Project Management and Coordination. o CDPHE submittals and permitting. o Construction Observation. o Digital As-built Drawings. The Consultant shall obtain, and maintain at all times during the term of this contract, insurance in the following kinds and amounts: 1. Workers' Compensation Insurance as required by state statute, and Employer's Liability Insurance covering all of Consultant's employees acting within the course and scope of their employment.
