SH 67 from just past Evergreen Heights Road to just before Kelley's Road will be widened to 4 lanes and a middle shared turn lane for most of it and will also have some raised medians near major intersections. Curb and Gutter will be placed along the corridor. Drainage will be updated throughout the corridor. Utility coordination is ongoing and is expected to be completed as construction begins, with some utilities to be moved when exposed by construction. Signs and delineators will be updated along the project corridor. Signal heads at Kelley's Road will be updated to accommodate new lanes. All accesses that are legal within the widening area will be updated to match new pavement and some illegal accesses will be removed. Several trees will need to be removed within the clear zone It is estimated that the total cost of all items in the bid will be: (X) Between $5,000,000 and $20,000,000 This project is located in Region 2 in Teller County. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. 9 This work consists of furnishing a uniformed police agency officer to perform uniformed traffic control (UTC) as approved by an MHT for the project. This work includes furnishing a vehicle for the officer to use in performing uniformed traffic control if not otherwise provided in the agreement with the agency. The Contractor shall be responsible for scheduling all UTC's when required on approved MHT's. The Contractor shall be required to contact the local police jurisdictions for use. Priority must be given for the Woodland Park Police Department. This work consists of salvaging topsoil from onsite locations, stockpiling, maintaining, and preparing the subsoils for the placement of the topsoil at locations shown on the plans. It also includes creating seeding media by amending subsoils, and importing offsite topsoil when shown on the plans. Substitutions from this specification will not be allowed unless submitted in writing to the Engineer and approved by the Region or Headquarters Landscape Architect.
