The Oswego City School Districts invites sealed bids, in duplicate, for: Site The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with its Bid, security in an amount and form subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. Requests for interpretation, information or clarification (RFI) of the Contract Documents must be made in writing to King + King Architects. Responses to RFIs will not be made over the telephone. Responses to RFIs will be advisory only and will not modify the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents stand as published except as modified by written Addenda before bid and Modifications after execution of the Agreement. Kingsford Park Elementary, 275 West 5th Street, Oswego, NY 13126 5. Charles E. Riley Elementary, 269 East 8th Street, Oswego NY 13126 6. Transportation Center, Mark Fitzgibbons Drive, Oswego NY 13126 A. Site Construction contract (SC) work generally includes site improvements at Leighton Elementary School, Reiley Elementary School, Fitzhugh Park Elementary School and the Transportation Center. B. Work is depicted on the following drawings and further defined in the applicable specification sections: 1. All work delineated on the G and L series drawings for work at multiple buildings. 2. All work as defined by specification sections 00, 01, 03, 31, 32, 33 C. The identification of specific drawings and specifications does not limit the contractor's scope of work to those drawings, contractors are responsible for all work shown all drawings and the coordination of that work with other contractors for complete installations and functional systems. D. Coordinate the completion of work to always provide access to the transportation center and adjacent field/stadium. It is anticipated that the work will be phased to maintain access. Provide temporary means of egress if applicable and restore when the project is completed. Include temporary traffic signage and signaling devices to help control traffic. E. Prior to starting work at any site conduct a ground penetrating radar scan of the work area and areas adjacent to identify underground utilities or potential obstructions. F. Take precautions to protect adjacent areas and areas of access from damage during construction. Restore all disturbed areas to a pre-construction condition. Including lawns and adjacent hard surfaces. G. Coordinate the layout of the transformer pads with the Electrical Contractor and any corresponding utilities. H. Verify existing and proposed grades prior to starting any work. If deficiencies exist identify those deficiencies in writing prior to starting any work. I. Implement and control requirements outlined in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. Maintain the required documentation and address any deficiencies in the SWPPP inspections within 24 hours of notification. J. Complete utility excavation, pipe bedding and backfill for exterior utilities including buried electrical and gas piping. Include restoration of areas impacted by excavations. K. Responsible for the installation of the generator pads completely. Including excavation, installation of compacted fill, reinforcement, concrete and backfill. Layout of the pad to provided by the Electrical Prime contractor. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. 2024 Capital Project Phase 1: a. High School: The scope of work at the High School involves construction of a new pool chemical storage room, replacement of the pool boiler plant system, upgrades to the existing generator and modernization of the existing elevator. b. Leighton Elementary: The scope of work at Frederick Leighton ES includes replacement of the boiler room equipment and generator replacement. This boiler room work includes replacement of the boilers, pumps, water heater, associated piping and electrical. The work also includes removal of the existing interior generator and installation of a new generator on the exterior of the building. c. Fitzhugh Park Elementary: The work at Fitzhugh Park Elementary involves removal of the existing interior generator and installation of a new exterior generator. d. Kingsford Park Elementary: The work at Fitzhugh Park Elementary involves removal of the existing interior generator and installation of a interior generator. e. Riley Elementary: The work at Riley Elementary involves replacement of the exterior generator. f. Transportation Center: The work at the transportation center includes fire alarm replacement, adding air conditioning to the staff training room and parking lot asphalt reconstruction. 2. 2024 Elevator Emergency Project: a. Fitzhugh Park Elementary: The elevator work at Fitzhugh Park Elementary involves electrical, HVAC, plumbing, flooring and masonry patching for the elevator modernization. The elevator modernization is by TKE Elevator hired directly by the owner. b. Kingsford Park Elementary: The elevator work at Kingsford Park Elementary involves electrical, HVAC, plumbing, flooring and masonry patching for the elevator modernization. The elevator modernization is by TKE Elevator hired directly by the owner
