Site Directions: Construction of a three (3) cell aerated wastewater treatment lagoon system and UV disinfection building immediately west of the Town of Basin's existing wastewater treatment lagoons located on the north side of Town limits immediately east of US Hwy 20/N 4th Street. Est. Completion Date: Sept. 30, 2026 Construction of a three (3) cell aerated wastewater treatment lagoon system and UV disinfection building immediately west of the Town of Basin's existing wastewater treatment lagoons located on the north side of Town limits immediately east of US Hwy 20/N 4th Street. The proposed wastewater treatment system will include three earthen embankment lagoons overlaid with a PVC geomembrane liner system, associated influent and effluent wastewater conveyance piping, an influent lift station, an aeration system, and a new UV disinfection building. Also included with the project will be relocation and diversion of the existing wastewater influent piping, disconnection of all effluent piping connecting the existing lagoon to the existing UV disinfection lagoon and demolition of the existing UV disinfection building.
