The project bidder is required to supply all equipment, manpower and materials to complete road saw cut, curb removal and disposal, installation of 8" perforated underdrain, 18" ADS storm pipe installation, Type C Inlets, connection of 18" ADS to existing inlet, trench restoration, and turf restoration. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows: "Sealed Bid Proposal for Avondale Road Stormwater Sewer Project". Written questions will be accepted until 2:00 pm on Thursday, May, 22, 2025 and shall be directed to the office of the Township Engineer: Woodrow & Associates, Inc., 1108 N. Bethlehem Pike, Suite 5, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002, 215-542-5648. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Township of Springfield, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Materialmen's Bond, each in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. A Certificate of Insurance showing proof of Workers Compensation Coverage shall be submitted. Prevailing state wage rates and Public Works Employment Verification Act will apply on this project. The Township of Springfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make such an award as appears most advantageous to the Township.
