Site work for a civil project in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Ridgway Tank: The structure is a 300,000-gallon spheroid elevated water storage tank with an estimated high-water level of 116 ft. located at 18 Lilac Court in Appleton, Wisconsin. Exterior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard within containment. Apply a four (4) coat zinc epoxy urethane system. Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. Apply a polyurethane caulk to the roof lap seams. The cathodic protection system is to be removed and reinstalled by the Owner's vendor (or approved equal), coordination and payment is the Contractor's responsibility. Dry Interior: Abrasive blast clean the entire tops of the platforms (including 1 ft. up the riser wall), the entire access tube, and spot coating failures throughout to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy system to the access tube and a spot two (2) coat epoxy system to the rest of the prepared surfaces. Pit Piping: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Foundation: Repair grout. Abrasive blast clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Repairs: 1) Replace the access tube manway gasket. 2) Install a gasket on the wet interior roof hatch and on the bolted painter's hatch. 3) Install handholds at the roof hatches. 4) Install ladder extension at the condensate platform. 5) Replace the condensate drain line. 6) Install a seal at the access tube air gap. 7) Install a roof handrail with a painter's railing. 8) Replace the dry interior light bulbs. North Tank: The structure is a 500,000-gallon spheroid elevated water storage tank with an estimated high-water level of 123.5 ft. located at 6721 North Ballard Road in Appleton, Wisconsin. Exterior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard within containment. Apply a four (4) coat zinc epoxy urethane system. Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. Apply a polyurethane caulk to the roof lap seams. The cathodic protection system is to be removed and reinstalled by the Owner's vendor (or approved equal), coordination and payment is the Contractor's responsibility. Dry Interior: Spot power tool clean the spot coating failures throughout to a SSPC-SP11 standard. Apply a spot two (2) coat epoxy system to the prepared surfaces. Foundation: Abrasive blast clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Repairs: 1) Replace the access tube manway gasket. 2) Install a gasket on the wet interior roof hatch. 3) Install handholds at the roof hatches. 4) Replace the mud valve. 5) Replace the condensate drain line. 6) Remove the drain from the top platform. 7) Overflow discharge modification. 8) Replace roof vent with a pressure vacuum vent. 9) Install a seal at the access tube air gap. 10) Install a roof painter's railing. 11) Replace the dry interior light bulbs.
