Project No. 10411164 The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Lanier Filter Plant Dewatering Coagulant Feed Improvements. Construct a full-scale 60% ferric sulfate solution storage and feed system to permanently implement coagulant addition to the existing solids handling process. The new facility will include two fiber-reinforced plastic storage tanks, a new prefabricated building housing feed pumps, improvements to the existing containment area, and associated chemical feed piping. Bidder agrees to complete the Contract awarded within the "allowable calendar days for completion" from the date of the "Notice to Proceed" and he further agrees that the Owner may retain from the monies which may become due the amount of $1,650.00 (Substantial) / $1,100.00 (Final) for each and every day that the completion of the work may be delayed. The County will award the Contract to the lowest "qualified" bidder, subject with the Owner's right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interests.
