This project consists of streambank restoration at various locations of Laurelain Park in Muhlenberg Township. The work includes removal of invasive vegetation, new streambank plantings and seeding, as well as rehabilitation of a bios wale. The project is being funded by the Department of Community Economic Development as part of the Watershed Restoration and Protection Program. Only questions submitted online. Responses will be provided on the website and be visible to all Bidders. Bids will be publicly awarded on June 16, 2025 at 6:00 pm (local time) at the Muhlenberg Township Building, 210 George Street, Reading, PA 19605. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Muhlenberg. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid.
