**As of June 20, 2025, the project was awarded to Empire Services, with an awarded amount of $314,483.38.** This project consists of streambank restoration at various locations of Laurelain Park in Muhlenberg Township. The work includes removal of invasive vegetation, new streambank plantings and seeding, as well as rehabilitation of a bioswale. . No responses will be provided for requests received after 12:00 pm on May 30, 2025. The project is being funded by the Department of Community Economic Development as part of the Watershed Restoration and Protection Program. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Muhlenberg. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Township. The Township also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
