Demolition of 1743 Thorn Street Questions Due Date: Jun 5th 2025, 2:00 PM EDT Questions Online Portal Any and all such interpretation will be in the form of an Addendum to the Contract Documents and will be issued via Electronic to all prospective proposers no later than 2:00 p.m., prevailing time on June 10, 2025. Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted. The successful bidder, upon award of contract, shall furnish at the time of execution of the same, a Maintenance Bond, Payment Bond, and Performance Bond by a surety company acceptable to the City of Reading, in an amount equal to ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) of the contract to guarantee satisfactory performance. All bonds are subject to approval by the City Solicitor. The bidders are herewith cautioned that the time of completion (30 days from the Notice to Proceed) shall be as stated on the bid form. The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid, as may be in the public interest.
