Renovation of a mixed-use development in Temple, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, services, vehicles, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision to perform comprehensive cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facilities in Temple and Waco, Texas. Services include scraping, degreasing, washing, and treating all portions of the kitchen vent hoods, exhaust fans, and ductwork. Cleaning will be performed monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually depending on the specific location and equipment. Personnel must be certified by an industry-standard organization such as IKECA, and at least one certified technician must be present on-site during work. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and VA safety standards, and be performed in accordance with the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA). A safety plan must be submitted prior to work commencement, and contractors must provide proof of immunizations for flu and TB. The contract includes a base year and four option years, with services scheduled across various buildings and kitchen hoods at both facilities.
