The Province invites tenders for the Supply and Installation of Gym Flooring at Hazelwood Elementary in St. John's, NL. All work noted above must be substantially completed by Friday, August 29, 2025. SUPPLY AND INSTALL NEW FLOOR - GYMNASIUM 2. Remove existing base and replace with new standard black, four (4) inch vinyl base installed as per manufacturer's instructions. 3. Remove existing sheet sports flooring and discard from site. 4. Supply and install purpose-made sports flooring as per master specifications (NLSCHOOLS-25-113-Master Specifications.pdf) and any/all requirements of the flooring manufacturer. In the case of conflict in the in the installation procedure between the master specifications and the requirements of the flooring manufacturer, precedence will generally be given to the manufacturer' guidelines, subject to prior approval of the owner. 5. Floor sockets are to be level with the new sports floor. It is the contractor's responsibility to supply any required spacers and/or perform whatever machine work needs to be done to accomplish this (e.g. grinding or adding spacers), which ensuring at completion there is acceptable appearance and functionality of sockets.
