Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Katy, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Scope of Work of the Contract includes the reconstruction and widening of Katy Hockely Road from Morton Road to Clay Road. The distance of the street reconnection is approximately 5,100 linear feet. The roadway reconstruction involves improvements to widen the existing two-lane asphalt roadway to a four-lane undivided reinforced concrete roadway with concrete sidewalks along one side of the road. The project also involves street signage and pavement markings, installation of underground storm sewer boxes, drainage swales and inlets, and replacement of existing water lines with a new 16-inch and 12-inch diameter water line. The Contractor hereby agrees to begin work within ten (10) calendar days after the written Notice to Proceed has been given by the Engineer. Contractor hereby also agrees to achieve Substantial Completion of the Work within 365 calendar days after the date of the written Notice to Proceed and to achieve Final Completion of the Work within 395 calendar days after the date of the written Notice to Proceed. Bidders desiring further information or further interpretation of any part of the Contract Documents are hereby obligated to submit a written request online to www.CivcastUSA.com for such information to Engineer not less than seven (7) calendar days before the Bid opening
