Jefferson County Library District is requesting bids for Parking Lot Sealing and Striping. Please email questions to gary@jeffcolib.org JCL is requesting competitive quotes from Contractors / Vendors for the purpose of Parking lot Sealing and Striping, located at 6780 Mall Drive Cedar Hill MO. 63016. This will include Preparing and Cleaning of all cracks and surface area of the paved surface. The sealing of all cracks 3/8 " or greater. Cracks to be sealed with a Hot Tar method that fills voids from the bottom up. All cracks sealed will be squeegeed to zero grade, even with the existing asphalt. Pothole Patch repairs (to be discussed at Pre Bid Meeting). Apply emulsion to the area to be patched to ensure adhesion. Install hot mix, commercial grade asphalt. Compact to a proper density and a smooth finish, using a vibrating plate compactor or roller. Seal the entire paved parking lot with 2 coats of concentrated commercial grade asphalt sealer (MAC 52) with sand. Sealer to be applied by squeegee on the first coat and sprayed on the second coat. Total approximate square yards to seal coat: 1456 sq yds. Restripe parking lot (Layout to be discussed at Pre Bid Meeting) using commercial grade yellow latex traffic paint. Contractor is responsible for all permits required by the City or County. Please provide equipment lead times. This bid is to be provided / performed at the Missouri Prevailing Wage.
