The work for which bids are asked on 2nd street (First phase) upper half of road includes fine grading and compacting road base and paving a single lift mat of 4LT 58-28 S surface course @ a minimum of 3inches thick approximately 2,750-feet long by approximately 19-feet wide of previously constructed rough graded surface including driveway approach's and tie ins with current pavement on each end, finish rolled with a steel drum vibratory roller. (Second phase) lower half includes sweeping entire roadway, tack coating, pre-wedging and paving 5LT 58- 28 S leveling course @ 1.25-inchs thick average for approximately 750-feet long x 34-feet wide and rolled with a rubber tire roller. 2nd lift mat to include tack coating, and paving 4LT 58-28 S surface course @ 1.75-inches thick on approximately 750-feet of previously constructed paved surface including side road, driveway, and sidewalk tie ins, and finished rolled with steel drum vibratory roller. Bid will also include milling of end joints and driveway joints @ bidders' price per LF. (If applies) the adjustment of water boxes with metal risers @ bidders' price per W/B, adjustment of manholes with metal risers @ bidders' price per M/H. If any water boxes or manholes are present, they are to be flush with finish paved surface. Any incidental work necessary to complete the project will be included in the bid. Contractor is responsible for any traffic control necessary. Gravel or Black dirt/shouldering we be the responsibility of the village. The work for 2nd street will begin at the start of the village limits on the west end of the project where 2nd street and skyline drive meet and continue east down the hill to the intersection of 2nd and oak street.
