Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pullman, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of upgrading nine (9) traffic signal systems and reconstructing existing curb ramps according to ADA guidelines at four (4) intersections with the installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) systems and other related work (e.g., utility adjustments, signage, and striping). A certified check, bid bond, or cashier's check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany the proposal. The City of Pullman, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Pullman.
