As of January 27, 2026, this project is underway at this point. They have it split into two main sub projects, a flooring project for the large animal facility in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH), and then a tenant improvement project for the small animal facility in VTH. The flooring sub project is about 40% completed now, anticipated completion by end of March. The tenant improvement sub project is in design now, construction starting in the coming months with anticipated completion December 2026. Statements of Qualifications Submittals will be received by Washington State University, Facilities Services, from firms interested in providing Progressive Design-Build services for Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Animal Disease Biotechnology Facility Tenant Improvements project on the Pullman campus of Washington State University. Teams responding should be limited to the builder and the prime designer. Design-Builder will fully execute the entire Work, including design and construction services, in strict accordance with the Contract Documents, and will provide all material, equipment, tools, labor, and design services necessary to timely complete the Work described in and reasonably inferable from the Contract Documents, except to the extent specifically indicated to be the responsibility of others. 1.2 Design-Builder to further Owner's interests. Design-Builder accepts the relationship of trust and confidence established by the Design-Build Contract and covenants with Owner to cooperate with Owner and others involved with the Project and to exercise Design-Builder's best skill and judgment; to furnish efficient, professional and competent design services and construction administration, management and supervision with sufficient quantities of fully qualified, competent and experienced personnel; and to perform the Work in an expeditious and economical manner consistent with Owner's interests.
