Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Kelowna, British Columbia. Design plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility.
Phase 2 will involve demolishing the 1975 portion of the site and constructing a new one-storey mass timber amenity space, linking the new building with the remaining 1985 structure and childcare. Other programs and features on the redeveloped campus will include: Adult Day service with capacity of 25 clients a day, 5 days a week. Childcare program for 25 children ages 3-5 and 12 infants/toddlers. Central Okanagan Plant Services; and Parking for vehicles, including electric vehicles, Handibus, and bicycles. TIMELINE: Project is on hold. Once Phase 1 is complete, and the LTC program has moved into the new building, Phase 2 will begin. Other development timelines are undetermined. Construction is expected to be complete in spring 2029. Further update in late summer, 2026.
