Renovation of an educational facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of July 18,2025, project was been awarded to American Roofing,Thoroughbred Roofing,and Deer Park Roofing but the awarded amount is not available The University of Louisville Procurement Services, on behalf of the Physical Plant Department, (PPD) is requesting bids from a qualified General Contractor (GC) to remove and replace the roofs on multiple buildings located on the University of Louisville’s Belknap campus and HSC Campus. Qualified vendors will present three (3) separate pricing options. Bid option #1 will be for Davidson Hall. Bid option #2 will be for Schneider Hall. Bid Option #3 will be for the Kentucky Lions Eye building. The University reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors due to time constraints for this project. • Bid # 1 Davidson; 2010 S 1st St, Louisville, KY 40208 • Bid # 2 Schneider Hall; 2300 S 1st St Walk,Louisville, KY 40208 • Bid # 2 Kentucky Lions Eye; 301 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd. Louisville, Ky. 40202. Bid Bond (5% of total bid amount). The awarded Supplier shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, per KRS 45A.190, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as security for the faithful performance of this contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor, including payment of all unemployed contributions which become due and payable under the Kentucky Unemployment Insurance Law furnishing materials in connection with the contract. The Owner and the GC agree that if the GC fails to achieve Substantial Completion of the Work within the Contract Time, Owner shall be entitled to retain or recover from the GC, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day commencing on the day following expiration of the Contract Time and accruing each day until the actual date of Substantial Completion. Once the GC achieves Substantial Completion, then the liquidate damages will cease to accrue for thirty (30) days. If the GC does not obtain Final Completion within thirty (30) days, then liquidated damages will begin to accrue on the thirtieth (30th) day at Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day.
