Hamilton County Schools (HCS) seeks to contract with a qualified, experienced, and professional Contractor to replace an existing failed 54-inch storm drainage pipe crossing the softball field, replace gravel driveway culvert, regrade drainage ditch, demolish CMU shed, repair RCP, and restabilized disturbed areas. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the proposed dollar amount (including applicable Alternates) must be submitted with the bid. For any construction Project Total that is equal to or exceeds $100,000.00, Vendor shall provide a Performance & Payment Bond meeting the HCS requirements for 100% of the Project Total from a surety company authorized to do business in the state of Tennessee or other form satisfactory to HCS. From the Notice to Proceed or the Purchase Order date, whichever applies: 70 calendar days to substantial completion, 30 calendar days from substantial completion to final completion (total contract days 100).
