Kanawha County Schools (KCS) is establishing a Job Order Contracting (JOC) program to provide recurring repair and maintenance services for its facilities, pursuant to W. Va. Code 5-22-1 et seq. This RFPQ initiates a two-step procurement process: Step 1: Qualify a pool of vendors for 27 distinct job classes (e.g., HVAC Maintenance, Plumbing Repair). Step 2: Solicit competitive bids from the pool, awarding one vendor per job class as the lowest qualified responsible bidder. Question Deadline 05/15/2025 at 4:00 PM ET This RFPQ seeks to identify qualified vendors for the pool. Vendors may apply for one or more of the 27 job classes listed in herein. Qualified vendors will be eligible to bid on JOC contracts, each capped at $500,000, requiring performance and payment bonds upon award. Pre bid meeting notes: All Contractors submitting qualifications must attend the mandatory virtual pre-qualification meeting. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-qualification meeting shall result in disqualification of the Contractor's submission. No one individual attending the pre-qualification meeting may represent more than one Contractor. Attendance will be recorded at the pre-qualification meeting. The "Go-To Virtual Meeting" Document shall serve as the official document verifying attendance.
