The scope of work generally includes paving and associated items of work. For bidders who are not the winning bid; there are absolutely no fees. Bids are to be submitted via online on the forms furnished in the bid package. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, or certified check or cashier's check, in favor of Bensalem Township, in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, on bond forms acceptable to Bensalem Township.
