See attached SF 30 for additional information P2 - 507134 Project Number: MUHJ223003 Construct a permanent dormitory facility at Joint Base Langley-Eustis to house 144 enlisted personnel, including 12 accessible rooms, with all necessary spaces and supporting building functions. Provide compacted fill to raise the building pad above the 100-year flood plain, reinforced concrete foundations and floor slabs, a structural steel frame at the building core, and load-bearing metal stud framing at the building wings. Construct exterior walls consisting primarily of a brick façade with a precast concrete base, with limited metal panel walls and glass storefront systems at the building core and entrances. Provide a roof system comprised of structural steel framing with trusses at the building wings and open-web joists at the building core, including standing seam metal roofing at the wings and a low-slope single-ply membrane roofing system at the central core. Provide long-run outside plant communications infrastructure, including a manhole and duct pathway system, and connect to existing installation utility infrastructure with sufficient capacity to support facility loads. Perform all required site preparation and supporting work for a complete and usable facility, including utilities, pavements, site improvements, communications, security enhancements, area lighting, removal of existing utilities as required, and remediation of petroleum-contaminated soil within the building footprint. Design and construct the facility to withstand seismic and wind effects as prescribed in applicable codes and design guides, and design the facility as permanent construction in accordance with Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01, General Building Requirements. Comply with Department of Defense antiterrorism/force protection requirements in accordance with UFC 4-010-01. The project is subject to Project Labor Agreement requirements.
