Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Minneola, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of November 11, 2025, this project is in the conceptual phase. A prospective design/build firm has been selected and contract negotiations are in process. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Minneola, Florida, is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the design, permitting, construction, and construction management of improvements to Trailhead Park located at 315 Madison Street in Minneola. The goal of this project is to enhance the park's accessibility, safety, aesthetics, and overall functionality for public use. The City does reserve the right to negotiate for a different term as is in the best interests of the community. The site plan design firm is anticipated to be Inspire Placemaking Collective, LLC The selected contractor will be expected to work with the chosen site plan design firm from design concept through final design. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: a. Project Documents Must Include Sealed Engineer Drawings. b. Resurface & Restripe Existing Parking Lot. c. Expand the Parking Lot Including an Extension of the Dog Park Parking Lot. d. Add an Additional Point of Ingress/Egress onto Old Hwy. 50. e. Enhance the Landscaping. i. Trees. ii. Plants. iii. Shrubs. iv. Smart Irrigation Systems. f. Upgrade & Install Park Amenities. i. One New Pavilion with Picnic Tables and Receptacles. Note: The new pavilion should be consistent with the design of the current two pavilions. ii. Six benches with backs. Note: The new benches should be consistent with the design of the current benches that are commercial grade, expanded steel, with a green vinyl coating unless an alternate is approved by the City. iii. Accessible Playcurbs. iv. Shade Structures (Cantilever & Sail Style). g. Existing facilities. i. Playground. o Inclusive Welcome Signage. o Sensory Wave Arch System. o ADA Xscape Swing (add-a-bays). o Trinet (medium) Climber. o Dramatic Playhouse. o Rockin Robin. o Clubhouse with Hex Roof. o Expression Swings (2). o 2-5 Age Structure (smaller climbers, etc.). o 5-12 Age Structure (altus towers, slides, rope span climbers, etc.). o Multiple Panels (mirrors, bells, tic-tac-toe, color wheel, gizmo panel, communication board, etc.). o Inclusive Musical Instruments (bongos, djembe, ganza, thunder ring). o Specialty Inclusive Components (sensory cove climber, therapeutic rings, expression swing). o Inclusive Climbing Units (vertical wiggle climber, roller slide, ramp links, transfer platforms). h. Six Regulation Size Pickleball Courts (standard layout with vinyl coated chain-link fencing). ii.
