SCOPE OF WORK Scope of work includes renovation of approximately 10,848 sf of an existing 1-story church building Type V-B Construction, Mixed Occupancy with Assembly and Business occupancies, non-sprinklered, with new fire alarm system. The project includes existing and new wood wall assemblies and existing glu-laminated heavy timber roof framing at Municipal Court/Council Room 115 and Flex Space 135 and CMU walls at existing baptistry. Existing exterior openings will be replaced in accordance with hazardous materials report, and new millwork, gypsum board walls finishes and other Work as indicated in the Contract Documents. The interior gypsum board and floor coverings have been partially removed, and bidders are expected to review existing conditions of the project. Scope of work includes a 78 sf Vestibule and 210 sf covered entryway with new cold formed metal framed walls, steel structure, and stone exterior finishes. with aluminum framed interior glass wall systems, millwork, finishes and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Scope of Work includes new parking lot located to the north of the existing building, with covered parking, drive aisle for transaction window along the east side of the site, and new sidewalks. Project is located at 200 E. Cash Street, lowa Park, Texas. Questions may be submitted until close of business day on May 7, 2025 at 5:00 PM CST. Proposers must submit a bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the amount of the Contract amount in the form of an approved Bidder's Bond underwritten by a surety authorized to conduct business in the State of Texas. Payment and Performance Bonds: Payment and performance bonds as required by Texas law will be required from the successful bidder/proposer in 100% of the amount of the Contract Sum. The bidder/proposer must deliver the performance and payment bonds to the Owner not later that the 10th day after the execution of the contract.
