Site work and renovation of a civil project in Belton, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of July 16, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded.The project is expected to be awarded next week.** The deadline to ask questions is 5/27/2025 3:00 PM CDT This Package 1a is for the Pre-procurement and delivery of Plant 1 & 2 Sludge Collector Mechanisms only. In order to complete Plant 2 work within the first allowable shut-down schedule, it is imperative that Plant 2's mechanisms are on site no later than March 3, 2026. A general description of the full project scope is below. Construct maintenance improvements to the Lake Belton WTP Plants 1, 2 and 4; and expand Lake Belton WTP at Plant 3 to reach a 102.5 MGD firm capacity. Based on commitments from the Board, the following scope is included in this project: Full Plant Maintenance Scope: Plant 1 Improvements o Flocculation Basin Baffle Wall Replacement (remove redwood baffles and install ported concrete walls) o Sludge Collector Replacement Plant 1 and 2 o Filter Backwash Blower Replacement o Chlorine Scrubber Installation o Replacement of the existing LAS Tanks and structural/architectural improvements to provide a fabric canopy over the bulk storage area. o Upgrades of the Sludge Pump Station Plant 2 Improvements o Sludge Collector Replacement Plant 4 Maintenance Improvements o Replacement of the existing LAS Tanks and structural/architectural improvements to provide a fabric canopy over the bulk storage area. o 48-inch Gate Valve Improvement Plant 3 Expansion Capacity Scope: o Replace three existing raw water pumps with larger Raw Water Pumps and VFD improvements in an existing Electrical Building. o Demolition of the Plant 3 Clarifiers and construction of conventional rapid mix, flocculation, and sedimentation (with circular sludge collectors) basins. Plant 3 Electrical Upgrades Plant 3 Chemical Storage and Chemical Feed Improvements: o Replacement of the existing LAS Tanks and structural/architectural improvements to provide a fabric canopy over the bulk storage area. o Installation of a new electrical duct bank and feeders from the old substation to the raw water electrical building. o Miscellaneous Site and Yard Piping Improvements associated with the above-described scope. If funding is available, the Owner would also like to include: . Combined Gas Chlorine Facility for the site with dry chlorine scrubbers
