Site work, paving and new construction of a water / sewer project in Madison, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
In general, the project includes two new booster pump stations, 6" and 10" ductile iron water main, and all associated fencing, electrical, SCADA, concrete paving, grassing, and clean up. PreQualification Packages must be submitted by e-mail no later than 21 days prior to bid opening to: Madison Utilities c/o Engineers of the South, LLC craig@engineersofthesouth.com SCOPE OF WORK A. SCOPE 1. The contractor shall furnish and install two package booster pump stations including pumps, distribution control panel, control panel stand, controls, pipe valves & fittings, fabricated baseplates, precast concrete building and all equipment and incidentals as specified herein and as indicated in the Plans. B. APPROVED EQUAL 1. In order for alternate equipment to be considered an approved equal, prospective suppliers must provide submittal information as detailed. a. The submittals will contain fully to scale drawings covering the power and instrumentation schematics and the booster pump station. The booster pump station drawing shall be specific to this project, in at least three (3) different views, be to scale and illustrate National Electrical Code (NEC) clearances per Section 110-16 of the code. The submittal will be complete with data sheets covering all individual components making up the booster pump station and the UL file number under which manufacturer is listed, service department personnel statement as detailed in the specifications and be complete with manufacturers formal warranty policy.
