The Work of Constructing the Project Will Be Let Under One Contract if an Award Should Be Made; and the Owner Reserves The Right to Select the Bid Considered by the Owner to Be in The Best Interest of the Owner. The Contractor shall visit the site to determine existing dimensions and conditions affecting electrical work. Failure to do so in no way relieves Contractor of his responsibility under Contract. A Cashier's Check or Bid Bond Payable to Madison Utilities Board in an Amount Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Amount of the Bid, but in No Event More Than $10,000, Must Accompany the Bidder's Proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and Evidence of Insurance Required in the Bid Documents Will Be Required at The Signing of the Contract.
