The Gallup Housing Authority is requesting interested Licensed Contractors provide a Bid to Install Metal Fascia Wrap - Rake Ends Only, 44 Public Housing residential buildings, as described in this Bid package. You are invited to submit a Bid to be received by Mike Burnside, Project Coordinator, for the Gallup Housing Authority. The Housing Authority Main Office is located at 203 Debra Drive, Gallup, New Mexico 87301, phone number (505) 722-4388. The following documents must be submitted to be considered a responsive Bid: 1. Proposal Form - Section 00300 (completed and signed). 2. Form HUD-5369A - Representations, Certifications; Other Statements (completed and signed). 3. Non-Collusive Affidavit - Section 00410 (Completed, Signed Notarized) The Gallup Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part thereof and to waive any informality in any proposal not deemed in the best interest of the Housing Authority. Please refer any questions regarding this proposal in writing (via e-mail) to: Mike Burnside at Mike.Burnside@galluphousing.com SPECIFICATIONS Over existing 2x6 wood fascia, Install minimum 32 guage 1-1/2" x 5" x Cut to length, aluminum metal Fascia Wrap, with baked-on white paint finished, at Rake ends of roof, from ridge to eave. Prepare surfaces by removing any stray nails, fasteners and objects that may prevent proper installation. Screw in loose wood fascia at corners and joints with 3" construction screws. Slide top edge of fascia under existing drip-edge and adjust to fit snug up against existing wood fascia and secure with color matching 1-1/4" minimum galvanized finish nails at center-line bottom edge of 2x6 fascia 24" on center and #14 x 1-1/4" color matching Self drilling galvanized roofing metal-to-wood screws with rubber washer at 24" on center, along face center-line of 2x6 fascia. Cut and Form a sharp 4 inch x 4 inch 90 degree bend at eave end of fascia and tuck/slide end of bend behind existing rain-gutter and fasten securely. Over lap all end joints of fascia wrap a minimum of 3 inches and apply 1 bead of silicone gutter sealant between adjoining ends, 2" from end of fascia. Notch and Over-lap fascia at peak to prevent water penetration where metal facias meet. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
