Akron Public Schools (APS) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide sealing and striping services for asphalt parking lots, driveways, and playgrounds at various school district locations for the 2025 calendar year. The goal is to maintain and preserve asphalt surfaces and ensure safe, clearly marked traffic and pedestrian areas. Services shall include but are not limited to: - Cleaning of asphalt surfaces prior to sealcoat application - Crack sealing using hot rubberized crack filler - Application of coal tar or asphalt emulsion sealer (specify preferred type if needed) - Re-striping of existing parking stalls, directional arrows, curbing, handicap symbols, and other pavement markings per ADA and state/local codes - Application of playground striping/markings (where applicable) - Barricading and signage to prevent traffic during curing time - Coordination with APS to minimize disruption to school activities All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted electronically through online using the ''Submit Question'' feature. Work must be completed by 12/30/25 unless unforeseen circumstances cause further delays and there is a mutual agreement between Akron Public Schools and the contractor to complete The District reserves the right to reject all responses, or any response deemed non-responsive.
