Payment for these services will be funded in part or in whole by a U. S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program. Responders are required to comply with all Federal Grant Requirements, 2 CFR part 200 and 24 CFR part 570, terms, conditions, and specifications. The Town of Fort Myers Beach. Florida. is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from Florida-licensed professional engineering firms to provide engineering. design. permitting. and construction oversight services for the rehabilitation of the North Island Water Tower Complex. This project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Critical Infrastructure Program. administered by Lee County. Engineering services procured under this RFQ must adhere to 2 CFR 200.317-327. Florida Statutes. and all applicable federal. state. and local regulations. The North Island Water Tower Complex was severely damaged by Hurricane Ian. leaving the Town dependent on a single remaining potable water tank. This project is a critical infrastructure initiative to ensure resilient. secure. and sustainable potable water access for residents and businesses in Fort Myers Beach. Through this solicitation. the Town seeks an experienced. engineering. and design firm to provide comprehensive professional services that align with FEMA flood mitigation guidelines. CDBG-DR program requirements. and sustainable development best practices. The project will not only restore these vital community assets but also integrate resilient infrastructure solutions to protect against future climate-related threats. The Town of Fort Myers Beach reserves the right. in its sole judgment in the best interest of the Town of Fort Myers Beach. to waive any informalities in any responses: to make award(s) including multiple awards: to waive any non-substantive. in Town's sole judgment. irregularity or technicality in responses received. and/or to reject any or all responses. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
