Design and Build Lighting Project exit 38 Question Deadline 05/21/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Christopher Inglese, cinglese@hamptoncountysc.org Hampton County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms experienced in providing design, permitting, due diligence, project management and construction for new HMLP at Interstate 95, Exit 38 South Carolina. The project intent is to provide a high quality fully functional lighting plan at the interchange. Work may include, but is not limited to, the following tasks: Specific tasks in the scope of work include: 1. Review of existing interchange layout and lighting. 2. Complete design (i.e. survey, geotech, structural, civil, electrical, etc.) and layout of HMLP. 3. Photometric plan per SCDOT and/or FHWA requirements. Utilize LED 4000-5000K lights with a minimum five-year warranty. The County is seeking a firm that is able to coordinate the scope of work above and provide a single source for information regarding the proposed project. 4. Proposed lamp vendor shall have a minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing LED. 5. Fixture shall be metal housing, UL rated for wet outdoor installations and meet Dark Sky requirements. 6. All coordination with Dominion Energy SC for meter(s) and electrical service(s) to new poles. 7. All coordination with the Town of Yemassee for any necessary permit or license. 8. Preparation of all necessary exhibits for SCDOT encroachment permit. 9. Complete and submit on-line SCDOT encroachment permit application. 10. Coordination and if necessary permitting with SCDES for construction NPDES coverage. 11. Provide and install HMLP per the approved design 12. Provide as-built documentation new below and above ground items. 13. Close out SCDOT and SCDES permit 14.
