Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

This project will redevelop the streetscape along approximately 0.7 miles of Varsity Drive between Avent Ferry and Western Boulevard to include a new divided street section, crossings, sidewalk, bike path, bus stops, lighting, stormwater and landscape improvements. The University has a mixture of uses along Varsity Drive including: Parking Lots, The McKimmon Center, Greek Village Housing and Varsity Research Building along this edge of campus. There are also adjacent private properties and this project will not address some of this streetscape and sidewalk development adjacent to these properties. Project Scope: The budget of $10,000,000 incorporates design, construction, and all associated soft costs Project Site: The project is located at Varsity Drive in the South Campus Precinct between Western Boulevard and Avent Ferry Road. The majority of the expansion will be on the south side of Varsity Drive. Varsity Drive north of Method Road is University owned; and City owned south of Method Road.
