Renovation of a municipal facility in Dayton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, tools and labor of every kind required to complete Markham Highway Barn - Repointing and Masonry Repairs Project as described, and perform all other incidental work in the most substantial and workmanlike manner, and do everything required by the Contract Documents as defined herein. A general scope of work is given on page D-5. The total bid price shall be the sum of all materials, installation and labor costs as defined herein. Each unit bid price shall be entered both in words and numerically in the spaces provided. In the event of a discrepancy the words will be used for tabulation purposes. Markham Highway Barn - Repointing and Masonry Repairs, 9196 Dayton-Markham Rd., Dayton, NY 14041 Scope: Repoint existing deteriorated cement masonry units, Remove and install new block faces and deteriorated masonry where needed, Remove and replace steel lintels, including flashing, weeps and re-caulking of existing windows to new steel. Cattaraugus County Local Law 1-2025 requires that the County provide a copy of the Cattaraugus County Vendor Responsibility Form to the low bidder. The low bidder will have 5 business days to return the completed form unless the form was mailed by the county to the vendor, in which case they will have 10 business days from the date of the mailing to return the form. Failure by the low bidder to submit the form within the above time frame will lead to the automatic rejection of their bid. The contractor must also ensure that all subcontractors who contract to work on the Project for consideration in the amount of $35,000 or greater, complete this form and submit it to the County for approval within 5 days of the preconstruction meeting. The contractor must also submit, in writing, a request for waiver for any subcontractors whose contract is for less than $35,000. Failure to do so may lead to the rejection of the subcontractor at the County's discretion. Currently Cattaraugus County has approved the CCA-2 (New York State Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire For-Profit Construction) with attachments A, B, and C to serve as the Cattaraugus County Vendor Responsibility Form. All bids must be sent or delivered to Cattaraugus County Department of Public Works, 8810 Route 242, Little Valley, NY 14755. Attention: Dawn Smith. All bids must be accompanied by a NON-COLLUSIVE BIDDING CERTIFICATE and Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of bid total. All substitutions are to be submitted at time of bid as per the contract documents. No substitutions will be considered after the bid date. Any bid submitted without such certification and bid bond will not be accepted. Any bid not meeting ALL specifications will not be considered. Cattaraugus County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the lowest responsible bid.
