As of July 15, 2025, the project was awarded to J&M Drywall / Central Ceilings West (Joint Venture), with an awarded amount of $2,608,475 and Mall City Mechanical with an awarded amount of $4,898,500. Reference Number 0000386859 The project includes complete interior renovation of the existing GRCC Library & Learning Resource Center, including major mechanical systems, structural modifications, extensive wall / floor plan revisions, plumbing & electrical, and new architectural finishes, as well as a building addition and site reconstruction. Selective Demolition is underway and is expected to be completed by the end of May, 2025. The balance of the work will begin immediately following award of contracts in early July 2025 and wrap up in September 2026.
