Site work for a water / sewer project in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be done under this contract consists of the construction of approximately 304 lineal feet of pipe sewers, varying in size from 12" to 18" in diameter, and appurtenances to be constructed in an area. Bids will be received only from companies that are prequalified by the District's Engineering Department for Sewer Construction. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (District) has established subcontractor goals for Building Construction (21% MBE and 10% WBE) and Non-Building Construction (10% MBE and 10% WBE) in the amount of $50,000 or more. Workforce goal requirements of 37% Minority, 11% Women, and 46% Apprentice (when applicable) apply to contracts in the amount of $500,000 or more. The requirements are further explained in the attached Business Diversity Utilization and Workforce Program document. Bid date description: The envelope is to be identified with Howard 1120 Combined Sewer Abandonment & Lateral Re-Route (IR), 14091-015.1, along with the Bidder's name and address. Electronic "bid", "bond" and "good faith effort" must be submitted as separate PDF's with this "name" on the file. If the Bid is sent by mail or any other courier type service, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with the notation. "SEALED BID ENCLOSED, ATTENTION: Damita Morris, Purchasing Department", on the face thereof.
