Renovation of a military facility in Los Angeles, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
ATS Generator was originally awarded; however, due to unacceptable lead time by the original Awardee, this solicitation is reopened and will be a trade-off evaluation and sealed bidding under FAR 15. Delivery time and technical specifications are the most important factors. The ATS does not have to be the same. It can be a newer model or substitute that meets or exceeds the specifications in the SOW SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials as required to safely replace Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) connected to the emergency generator. Complete a function test and ensure the generator starts upon a power loss and automatically transfers the load to all critical equipment as designed at the US Coast Guard Base Los Angeles Long Beach. For bid purposes, please provide a breakdown of price for ATS replacement. This is the lowest-price/best value, technically acceptable for solicitation. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
