Renovation of a water / sewer project in Brighton, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of removal of two existing underground fuel storage tanks and restoration of the subgrade to receive new paving. Two new above ground fuel storage tanks will replace the below grade tanks. The above ground fuel storage tanks and their associated access platforms & ladders have been purchased by BAS & will need to be installed by the projects contractor. A bid bond executed by an approved security company or certified check in the amount of at least 5% of the sum of the proposal shall be submitted with each proposal. May 30th, noon Last day for RFIs & clarifications. Inquiries may be made to David Jones, Assistant Superintendent for Finance, at the address and telephone number above. Information about the District is available during business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). June 2nd, end of day Final addendum to be issued The bid is expected to be awarded after the June 9th, 2025 Brighton Area School Board meeting June 12, 2025 Earliest date for Contractor to begin work. End of July Earliest date for tanks (by BAS) delivery to site. August 1st, 2025 Required project completion date, based on final approved schedule by selected contractor Brighton Area Schools reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part and to waive any informalities therein.
