Thompson, Inc. dba JTS Construction with an awarded amount of $360,300 BP-03 Site Utilities - SW Construction with an awarded amount of $166,338 BP-04 Fencing - Northern United Fence, Inc with an awarded amount of $25,000 BP-05 Electrical, Fire Alarm & Communications - Curtis Electrical Construction, Inc. with an awarded amount of $255,360 The Project consists of: Sitework for installation of One Permanent Modular TK Classroom Building, which includes but is not limited to demolition, earthwork/grading, site utilities, building and site concrete, electrical, fire alarm and communications. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Bakersfield City School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work.
