**The city will self perform the other items.** **As of July 29, 2025, project was awarded to Southeast Tank but awarded amount is not available.** The work for which bids are to be submitted consists of furnishing all labor, materials and performing all work required for the Andrew Jackson Water Tank on Andrew Jackson Drive, as described herein and as specified in the plans. The City of Waynesboro is accepting proposals for the Andrew Jackson Water Tank to be newly constructed on a parcel of property owned by the City of Waynesboro at the corner of Andrew Jackson Drive and Hwy 64 Bypass. Scope:- The work to be performed under this project shall consist of the construction of a new 127,000- gallon water tank on Andrew Jackson Drive, in Waynesboro Tennessee. The work will include the foundation for the tank, as well as the fill and drain lines needed to make the connection to the existing water tank. The proposed lines will go under the roadway, Clifton Turnpike, by the existing tank and will require replacement. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a Surety Company acceptable to the Owner on the form contained herein, or on a form provided by the Surety Company; or a certified check, or a cashier's check made payable to the Owner, for not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid. Checks will be returned to all except the three low bidders within ten (10) days after opening of the bids and the remaining checks will be returned promptly after the Owner and accepted bidder have executed the contract. If no award has been made within sixty (60) days after the bid opening, the checks will be returned to the three low bidders, upon demand, at any time thereafter. The City of Waynesboro reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to waive technicalities or informalities, and to accept any proposals deemed to be in the best interest of The City of Waynesboro. No bid shall be valid unless signed. No bid shall be accepted by FAX machine. Completion- (180) calendar days or pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500.00 per calendar day thereafter.
