Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boxford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The contractor will be responsible for the fine-grading, installation of pre-purchased playground equipment, furnishing and installing borders and play surfaces, ADA accessible walk and ramp, and other applicable work specified in the contract documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. A performance bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required for the faithful performance of the contract as well as a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total contract price. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder based on qualifications and bid price. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject any or all bids, or take other actions in the Town's best interest.. The Work consists of installing erosion controls per plans and order of conditions, stripping soil, fine grading and compacting the site as necessary per plans, laying out the playground equipment, and installing pre-ordered playground equipment and associated playground appurtenances. The playground equipment will be delivered and on-site; however will need to be unpackaged, organized, and installed per the plans..
