As of November 7, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Toulon will receive Bids for 200,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank. The construction Includes the installation of a 200,000-gallon elevated water storage tank with a head range of 28 feet and all necessary appurtenances and approximately 150 feet of 10-inch and 60 feet of 12-inch connecting pipe with all necessary appurtenances located at the Toulon WTP. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Giffin Reeise Engineering, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. This project is funded in whole or in part with grant funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Attention is called to the fact that 1) not less than the Federal prevailing wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project; 2) The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3, 24 CFR Part 75; and 3) The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders must not be excluded from participating in any federal assistance program [24 CFR 85, Subpart C 85.35; 2 CFR 200.214].
